Born and raised in Athens with classical guitar studies.Moving to Crete he got involved with the Cretan lute performance & participated in various traditional concerts & festivities with prominent artists of the island. Currently, he is conducting a PhD at the University of Crete, focusing on "Cretan musical identity”,& makes music as a member of the groups Daulute & Babel and as a solo performer.
